My wife and I love to travel and diligently research touring options. We wanted to tour East Africa, especially trekking for Primates. We researched multiple tour agencies and narrowed the field to five and spoke with three tour operators. Nicholas stood head and shoulders above all the rest. We decided that Uganda had more to offer than Rwanda and it was much less expensive. Nicholas arranged small plane travel to and from the parks with a guide that transported us between the parks. We spent three days in the Bwindi for gorillas and then traveled by road to Queen Elizabeth for a river safari. Then we spent three days at Kibale for chimpanzee trekking. We were a little concerned with safety, but the widespread kindness of the Uganda people is impressive. We felt very safe. Our guide Justus had family from the area and he easily spoke with everyone along the way. We also wanted to visit the Serengeti and the zebra and wildebeest were birthing in southern Serengeti. So Nicholas arranged the international travel flights to and from Tanzania. Of course there were some last minute changes but he quickly alerted us, and he contacted us during each transition to make sure everything went smoothly. He is a true professional, much like I remember travel agents from the US in the 1900s. We did not want a canned tour, so Nicholas was able to coordinate this highly individualized tour for us and it was the trip of a life time. You will not be disappointed, Nicholas is a true professional.

We had an amazing time on our 9-day trip to Uganda. Levan was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely kind. We saw an incredible number of animals in every park we visited, and all of the lodges were comfortable and well chosen. The gorilla trekking was truly unforgettable and the highlight of the trip. Highly recommend this tour company for an incredible Uganda experience.
