African Blue Tours

“After arranging Safari time in the Kruger area of South Africa, my wife and I pondered how to organize our remaining 9 days. We knew we had to visit Capetown and the Garden Route, but were unsure as whether to drive, do day tours, exactly where we wanted to go, how long to spend in each spot, whether to book things ahead of time- etc. This “problem” was solved easily once David and Africa Blue were recommended to us. As soon as we got in touch and did a Zoom call, we landed on an eight day Garden Route and Cape town tour. David spent a lot of time asking about our likes and dislikes, getting a sense of what our “Personalized Tour” should look like, and followed up with info/advice about different routes, attractions, accommodations, possibilities. He constantly reminded us we could make changes, alter times, change our minds- it was “Our Tour” With Matt as our guide, we had the ease of always being with a local “expert”, having all our questions answered, receiving insights about food, culture -everything. He was a great help in organizing our time, as we often wanted to get in as much as we could in a day, but not rush through everything. We enjoyed and greatly appreciated his historical knowledge, his perspectives, and of course his love for the area he grew up in. Through the just-over-a -week we did make a few changes to our original route, and Matt made it work beautifully. We feel so fortunate that we “discovered” Africa Blue. We had a phenomenal experience in a phenomenal area of the world. If thinking about travel to that region of South Africa, we highly recommend checking in first with David at Africa Blue.”
