“Our family of four (kids ages 10 and 12) just returned from a two-week adventure through South Africa with African Sky Safaris, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, every detail was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed. We visited Cape Town, Kruger National Park, and Pretoria—and every stop was a perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and authentic local experience. The accommodations were excellent—clean, comfortable, and in ideal locations. The food throughout the trip was delicious, and everything was very reasonably priced given the incredible level of service and customization we received. What really set this trip apart, though, was the people. Our guides, Andre and Mary-Anne, were absolutely outstanding—so knowledgeable, kind, and patient with our kids (and adults!). They brought South Africa to life in a way we never could have experienced on our own. Our safaris in Kruger were beyond anything we imagined. We saw an unbelievable number of animals in their natural habitats—lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, and more. Every drive felt like a new treasure hunt, and the excitement never wore off. A special note of gratitude goes to African Sky for their attention to my husband’s mobility needs (he has limited mobility following an accident). They were incredibly accommodating, ensuring that every hotel and outing was manageable and accessible, and always had a backup plan in place if needed. It never felt like an afterthought—it was clear they took our needs seriously and went out of their way to make the experience inclusive, seamless, and stress-free. They were also incredibly flexible, adjusting our schedule on the fly to account for weather or energy levels. The whole trip felt highly personalized—like we were traveling with friends who just happened to be expert planners and guides! I’d call this a once-in-a-lifetime trip, but the truth is...
