We experienced our once in a lifetime trip to Tanzania (Kilimanjaro climb), South Africa (Safari), and Mozambique (beach resort) due, to, in no small part, Kirsty's meticulous trip planning. Her knowledge of the areas from personal experience and years in the industry was indispensable. Once we landed in Africa she supported us every step of the way, checking in with us at every stop, and providing VIP service for us after every local (within Africa) airport. We now consider her a friend and we are already planning our next trip. We would never consider an African trip without her recommendations and guidance. Trust her, and enjoy your magical trip. Kirsty put together a fantastic adventure for a girls’ getaway safari. We stayed at three Wilderness Camps--Ruckomechi Camp in the Mana Pools area of Zimbabwe, Linkwasha near Hwange National Park, and Mokete Camp in Botswana. All were lovely, but the game drives at all three were some of the best I’ve encountered in my 35 years as a safari junkie. Mana Pools was full of life, hippos, elephant herds with lots of babies, and mating lions seemingly around every shade tree. Our guide, Cosmo, was full of knowledge and energy. Mokete, a new Wilderness camp, was a spectacular experience. We witnessed several kills, a herd of 5,000 buffalo, giraffes, lions, hyenas, and hundreds of birds in the swamps. This camp is the ultimate experience. Ask for Jonah and tell them we said hello! We ended our trip with a stay at the lovely Semowi Camp near Maun. It’s a family-run small tent camp on a lovely body of water. More importantly, it is close to Elephant Havens, Botswana’s only elephant orphanage, where we spent time meeting the baby elephants and interacting with them. It’s a wonderful experience and a dynamic for animal lovers who want to learn more about what it takes to rescue baby elephants. Kirsty can hook you up. We wouldn’t have had such a good time if we had to worry about travel details. Kirsty stayed in touch with us daily. She reminded us of where to go and when. Her thorough planning and helpful itinerary booklet keep you moving without having to guess. Because if you go to Africa, you will forget time, dates, and perhaps even your last name. We can’t forget Kirsty’s last name is Gordon! Contact her and book the trip of your life.
