“My sister, 22 year old daughter, and I recently enjoyed a 13 day trip to Morocco utilizing Around Morocco Tours for everything except the first four nights of lodging in Marrakech (which we had already secured thru a family friend). From our very first email inquiry to our return home, Around Morocco Tours provided us with excellent customer service. The office manager was very responsive to our multiple inquiries whilst we planned the trip and was receptive to our requests to tweak the itinerary with a free day in Marrakesh and another in Fez, to go to Safi to visit their ceramics museum, to explore Rabat for a day. He also accommodated our two separate arrivals and departures from the airports. I found the cost of our private tour to be less than the cost of joining a much larger tour that would not have allowed for our itinerary customization. Around Morocco Tours provided us with two different driver/guides (in addition to local guides for Marrakech and Fez) Mohammed picked us up from the airport, exhausted from a 24 hour travel experience from California), and got us settled in a home in Marrakech's medina. He drove us to coastal Safi the next day and also transported us a few times during our four night stay in Marrakech. Mohammed speaks english fluently and pleasantly guided us during our stay. He is funny, knowledgeable, and good natured, enduring my daughter's choice of driving music (Yacht Rock) and helping us use the ATM and stop at a large grocery store to gather road trip supplies and bottled water. Hicham was our second driver/guide and we spent the final eight days of our tour enjoying his company as we traveled for three days through the desert areas, and explored Fez, Rabat and Casablanca. Hicham is a star! He speaks english very well and is knowledgeable about the history, culture, and logistics of driving through so much of the country. He was very attentive to our needs and made us feel comfortable and safe. He has a great way of knowing when to talk and when to just let us enjoy the quiet during some of the longer drives. He easily accommodated situations that arose such as needing to stop to buy medication, drove me thru casablanca on our last day so I could purchase some last-minute artisan gifts, took us to a french grocery store to buy a bottle of wine,or just let us sleep in a bit because we felt like it. Both my sister and I had birthdays during our trip and Hicham very sweetly facilitated our small celebrations (hence the wine) and by treating us to cake and ice cream at his favorite place in Fez. Hicham is funny, gregarious, and easily flexed to the changing needs of two middle aged women and my young adult daughter. I really enjoyed watching Hicham's interactions with local people all across the country: he was so pleasant, honest and charming. Importantly, Hicham has excellent driving skills. A final example of his attention and care was when Hicham drove my daughter and I to the airport in Casablanca for our very late night flight home. He parked the car, walked us in, waited in line with us for quite a while until we could check our bags and walked us to the security line before sending us on our way with good wishes. Then he drove 45 minutes back to the hotel and picked up my sister four hours later for her early morning flight! In addition to providing excellent driver/guides, Around Morocco Tours reserved wonderful lodging for us in historic and fascinating riads plus a night in a luxury desert camp near Merzouga. They arranged for local guides to tour us through the medinas in Marrakech and in Fez and Hicham brought us to several historic and wildlife sites on the long drive to and from the desert area. In conclusion, it is my pleasure to highly recommend Around Morocco Tours and more specifically, to recommend two of their employees, Mohammed and Hicham, as excellent, caring, and competent driver/guides. It was a trip of a lifetime thanks to them.”

“Wonderful tour - recommended to us by a friend and we would highly recommend it to others as well. We were 4 women traveling together and felt incredibly safe and well-cared for. Our driver and guide, Hisham, was very knowledgeable about Morocco and everywhere we went. He was flexible and able to make slight detours to accommodate our needs. The riads where we stayed were all gorgeous and well-appointed. The tour owner was very accommodating to our needs as we planned the tour as well. We initially were 6 friends and then paired down to 4, but this was handled without issue. We also requested twin beds in each accommodation and that was no problem. Hisham drove a Mercedes SUV, it truly could not have been more comfortable. We spent the first three days in Marrakech, which was wonderful but a trip to Morocco would not have been complete with just that. Going into the countryside to see everything was amazing. Morocco is a beautiful country and the people are incredibly warm and welcoming. The countryside and terrain we saw was quite varied, from fields of palm trees, to the Sahara desert, to small villages with sheep and daily markets, to the Atlas mountains and Kasbahs. I was worried at first about the amount of time in the car, but the scenery is so gorgeous and the places we stopped made it all worth the travel. I'm encouraging everyone I know to go to Morocco and take this tour.”
