Attractive Tours

“The tour guide can make or break any excursion, and luckily Abdul, the driver/guide on our day tour from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains and 5 Valleys, arranged with Attractive Tours, was one of the very best. He collected us, bang on time, from our prearranged pick-up point, and transported us in comfort and safety for an eight-hour trip around the spectacular landscape of the High Atlas Mountain range. Abdul was courteous, personable and accommodating, but more than that, a fount of fascinating insights into Moroccan life and history, which provided us with an invaluable glimpse behind the veil of the real Morocco. Clearly aware of his passengers' fondness for photo opportunities, he stopped and parked up at several particularly picturesque points to let us stretch our legs and take a few snaps. Also included in the tour price were an absorbing stop at a worthwhile women's cooperative enterprise which creates an array of products from argan oil, and another to enjoy some mint tea at a riverside cafe. The highlight, however, may have been the fabulous lunch we enjoyed, sitting outdoors in glorious sunshine, in a Berber home. Abdul told us it would be the best food we would eat in Morocco, and he wasn't wrong. We chose this particular tour because we had no interest in camel rides and because the 'trek' element was optional rather than integral, as it appears to be in so many of the other tours offered to the Atlas Mountains. And it suited us perfectly. We have no hesitation in recommending it wholeheartedly.”
