The game drives in Chobe and to Savuti were unforgettable, especially the moment we saw a leopard with its prey, something I never expected to experience so close up in the wild. We were also impressed by the enormous numbers of elephants and the sense of space and pristine nature wherever we went. In addition to the wildlife, we also thoroughly enjoyed meeting local people and discovering a bit of the culture and cuisine. Jan and Pearl organized everything perfectly, and their knowledge of the region ensured that the entire trip ran smoothly and relaxed. We were simply able to enjoy the experience. “We visited this fantastic country in October 2025 via Beyond Botswana Travel. Jan and Pearl put together the most perfect holiday for us. We arrived in Johannesburg, and we crossed a small part of South Africa by rental car, where they also found a beautiful place for us to stay in the Waterberg. After that, we drove from South to North Botswana. Even the journeys were incredibly beautiful; we saw wild animals crossing the road: elephants, zebras, monkeys, giraffes. We slept in beautiful rural lodges, met the locals, went to Victoria Falls, spotted lions in Chobe National Park, took a river cruise… I can assure you: Jan and Pearl organized a fantastic trip for us, within our budget, and you don't need to have a “big wallet.” We were in South Africa in 2023, but honestly, Botswana is even more beautiful and also safer for tourists.
