⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sam Njoroge made our Savora Mara Game Camp experience unforgettable! His knowledge of the Kenya Big Five and the entire Mara ecosystem was next‑level. He spotted animals with ease, shared amazing insights, and kept the energy high the whole time. We saw four of the Big Five—everything except the elusive rhino—and Sam made each sighting feel special. If you’re heading to the Mara, ask for Sam Njoroge. He’s truly exceptional.

I had a great experience booking with Bigfoot, as I was planning a 7 day trip that included Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara. The truth is, all of the tour agencies have a standard boilerplate itinerary that they send out to all enquiries. But I worked with Esther at Bigfoot, and I really liked that she provided 2 options upfront immediately (a lower priced vs higher priced plan); she was also communicative and fast with her responses, attentive to my requests, allowed me to mix and match lodges, and made changes accordingly. I found Bigfoot's pricing convenient and fair, as they quote an all-inclusive price (vs some other agencies that nickel and dime, where you are obliged to pay park fees and other charges separately). The trip was handled seamlessly from beginning to end; we were picked up on arrival at Nairobi airport after landing and transported to a hotel for the night. The next day, our guide Eustace picked us up in the morning, and would remain with us for the week, until bringing us back to NBO for the flight out. Eustace was knowledgeable and friendly, and a good driver to boot; he made helpful changes to the itinerary (e.g, taking us directly into a game drive after a long trek on the road to maximize the chance to see animals, rather than checking into the lodge first and waste the daylight), and was responsive to our requests. Of the 3 lodges booked, I liked the first 2 (Oltukai and Sopa in Nakuru), whereas the third (Tipilikwani) was honestly a little grimey and disappointing. We specifically requested the 4x4 Landcruiser car, which I recommend because of their large windows well suited for taking photos; the car wasn't new by any means, but was clean and well maintained, with plentiful of bottled water as it does get hot in the midday. I also recommend the hot air balloon ride in Masai Mara; not only are the sunrise views incredible, the champagne breakfast (really it was an open bar for the duration) on the plains under the infinite blue sky was a unique experience. I would recommend Bigfoot highly, given how honest and reliable they are - this is important because you are paying a lot of money upfront weeks before you even arrive in Kenya; their 1000+ positive reviews on TripAdvisor don't lie!
