What people are saying
“If you want a skilled, warm-hearted, and knowledgeable guide for your trip to Algeria, book Chouchou. She showed us hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path places, and introduced us to the country’s fascinating history and culture. Thank you, Chouchou, for an amazing two weeks — for your patience, the meals, the great conversations, and the little surprises. Keep up the great work! Highly recommended!”
“Thanks to Chouchou’s deep love for her homeland and her God-given talent, the twelve days we spent with her became a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. It surpassed many well-known tourist destinations, as tourism as a phenomenon is still largely absent in Algeria and there is virtually no trace of globalization — and it is precisely this authenticity that gives the country its unique beauty. Through her work, Chouchou has genuinely placed her homeland on the world map. With Chouchou, we not only gained insight into local culture, but became part of everyday Algerian life — from visits to historical museums and immersive gastronomic masterclasses to discovering diverse ethnic groups and enjoying thoughtfully curated surprise programs. We are deeply grateful to her for the countless unforgettable moments. She demonstrates outstanding professionalism, and her kindness is truly boundless. We spent several days in Algiers, visited Tipaza, traveled to Tizi Ouzou, explored the landscapes around Béjaïa, and of course wandered through the breathtaking historic Casbah old town. The locals are remarkably warm, open, and helpful — many of them descendants of countless martyrs who fought for their country’s independence. Here, vegetables have real fragrance, and the spices are nothing short of enchanting. We discovered local folk music as well as contemporary hits, all with a distinctive and captivating sound. If we had to highlight just a few elements, we would say: Kabyle culture, Idir, and chorba frik. Chouchou, thank you for giving us an experience that will stay with us for a lifetime. One, two, three — viva l’Algérie! 🇩🇿 Be sure to follow Chouchou on social media to see more of her inspiring work and unforgettable journeys.”
