“We just finished a 3-day tour of Southern Tunisia and it was absolutely awesome. The itinerary was perfectly paced, hitting all the major highlights without feeling rushed. We saw the stunning amphitheater of El Jem, the spiritual history of Kairouan, the lush canyons of Chebika, and of course, the iconic Star Wars filming locations like Mos Espa and the Lars Homestead (Sidi Idriss). Our team was top-notch. Our guide, Seif, was incredibly knowledgeable and very easy to talk to, providing great context for everything we saw. Our driver, Wajih, was calm and professional, making us feel safe throughout the long stretches of road. The hotel in Tozeur was very nice and comfortable. Camping in the dunes was fun: the food was delicious and the entertainment was nice. The night was extremely cold, though. Winter Travel: Going in winter meant fewer crowds, which was great, but it gets extremely cold at night. If you go this time of year, dress in heavy layers! The Stars: Despite the cold, the night sky in the desert was the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen. The company had excellent communication from start to finish. Highly recommended!”
