I was traveling to Uganda for work and was excited to have an opportunity to extend my time for a 3-day experience to see mountain gorillas (a bucket list wish!) and more of the country outside of Kampala. I chose this tour because it was locally owned, ethical and conservation-focused, very well priced, offered a short option (3-day) that fit my timeline, and had strong reviews on multiple platforms. The experience exceeded my expectations! My driver Eddie was professional and very friendly the entire trip. He kept us on schedule to the minute throughout the experience from pick up to drop off and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The booking process was easy and communication was consistent throughout. I appreciate that EAJS offers options for every part of the trip. For lodging, I chose the mid-range package and was blown away by the beautiful accommodations and views in Bwindi and on Lake Bunyonyi. The lodges were very comfortable and every plate of food was delicious. Every aspect of this package is curated with the guest experience in mind and to ensure you truly see and enjoy Uganda. Each person I met along the way was so friendly and welcoming. Seeing the gorillas was a life changing experience! The rangers and park experience made it clear that the gorillas' safety and boundaries were most important, and we were still able to get within meters of the Happy family -- 3 silverbacks! Just incredible. I cannot recommend this trip enough; you have to experience it! Don't hesitate, book with EAJS!

Honestly, this was one of the best trips I have ever taken in my life. The Mabamba swamp tour was great and relaxing. We saw all kinds of wild life including the shoebill. The trip to the equator on the boat was great. The weather was perfect and Mo was a very friendly boat Captain and had interesting information about the Lake and surrounding area. It was a relaxing end to a first day, which was preceded by a lot of travel and little sleep. The second day had the game drive, which was a lot of fun and had some beautiful sights to see. The trip on the Nile was great for viewing wildlife and seeing the falls from the bottom. It would have been better to be able to get a little closer but it is understandable as the current from the falls is to strong and overpowers the boat. The boat was short in seating so many sat on the engine covers (not a deal breaker unless you have physical issues). Outside of the boat being overbooked, this was a good experience. Still saw so much wildlife during the ride and could move around the boat to see everything. The stay at the parkland lodge was nice and the morning game drive found even more close encounters with the larger wildlife there. The top of the falls had some of the most beautiful views and I would have stayed there for hours longer if we did not have other places to go. Lastly, the rhino sanctuary was incredible. Walking amongst these giant white rhinos was a unique experience, and helps you appreciate these magnificent animals. Our guide, Eddie, was outstanding. He answered all our questions and got us where we needed to be. He took care of all the busy work and let us enjoy the trip, which was exactly what we were looking for. We have nothing but positive reviews about the experience, and I have told everyone already asking us about the trip as such. I plan to come back again one day and experience more of the Pearl of Africa because it is such majestic country. Thank you for being amazing hosts. The pictures do not do it justice. It is not the same as looking at these animals up close and personal or seeing the falls for yourself and feeling the spray from the rocks cool you as you enjoy the scene.
