“This tour exceeded all of our expectations. Communication was prompt and helpful from the very first contact, and the trip was well organised with plenty of flexibility. Isaac was a friendly and personable guide who made every effort to ensure we were comfortable. His knowledge of the local area was extensive and he showed a strong connection to the communities. His passion for wildlife and conservation was also evident. Zaina Lodge was a luxury experience but Mole National Park was the clear highlight. A beautiful place of absolute serenity, surrounded by nature and birds - photos don't do it justice. Grassroots Tours, and especially Isaac, deserve their great reputation, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour!”

“Our time in Mole was incredible from start to finish. Our travel plans to Tamale changed at the last minute and Isaac was able to accommodate this - he met us at 5:30am! When we first got to Mole National Park we did the afternoon safari and were able to see a wide range of animals including rare antelopes, elephants, a crocodile, warthog, and baboons. The following morning we were met by two elephants right beside the hotel grounds! We then did a walking safari in the park and witnessed a large band of elephants enter the lake to swim - a memory that will last us a lifetime. The park rangers were all incredibly knowledgeable and warm, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Isaac is a very generous and kind tour guide - he always made sure we were comfortable and was by our side throughout the trip to meet any needs we had. Lastly, the food at The Mole Hotel was delicious. We particularly loved the mole fried rice and the guinea fowl and vegetable stew! My fiancé and I were really impressed with the tour and would highly recommend Isaac as your guide. He is local to the area and speaks a range of dialects, which allows you to venture to places you likely wouldn't have access to - ie. the nearby shea butter producing villages. His English is flawless and his humour will have you smiling throughout your stay. Thanks for everything Isaac and for giving us an experience that went above and beyond our expectations!”
