“We had a wonderful 3-hour walking tour of the Medina and souks with Ismael from “Marrakech with Locals.” Ismael is an excellent local guide – knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely proud of his city. He shared fascinating insights into the history, culture, daily life, and traditional crafts of Marrakech, bringing the Medina to life in a way that felt both informative and personal. The walk through the souks was especially engaging, with clear explanations of the different trades, materials, and traditions, and Ismael was always happy to answer questions. He struck a perfect balance between historical facts and local stories. The group atmosphere was very pleasant as well: a lovely family from Portugal and Hungary, a friendly couple from Singapore, and myself from Norway. Ismael made everyone feel welcome and included. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to truly understand Marrakech beyond just walking through it. A memorable and enriching experience.”
