“As a Black/ mixed race American with Ghanaian ancestry visiting Cape Coast and both seeing and hearing how my ancestors who survived to America were treated was life changing. Every Black American should make a pilgrimage to either Ghana or Nigeria once in their life to see where their forefathers came from. As an American, whatever you've heard or read about slavery the reality is worse. It's more horrific.”
