“I contacted Aliaa, the queen of Luxor, short-term the afternoon before I wanted to go on a hot air balloon tour. Whereas other tour agents told me they're fully booked she managed to get me a space in a balloon. Communication via WhatsApp in English and super efficient. Price of 70 USD seems quite a lot but prices where getting higher everywhere at that time and I literally had no hassle at all: be ready in the morning, give someone the money at the balloon site and just enjoy the awesome experience. Definitely worth doing. Her brother Ahmed (Rambo) has a souvenir shop next to the Hana Stay Hostel and helped me a lot getting around, showing me local food, explaining culture and made me feel home and safe all the time.
