From the moment we began planning our African adventure, Rhino Africa exceeded every expectation. Our travel designer, Samantha, was absolutely phenomenal — she listened carefully to our wishes and crafted a perfectly balanced itinerary that captured the very best of Cape Town, the Cape of Good Hope, and our Sabi Sands safari experience. Her attention to detail and constant communication made the entire process effortless and enjoyable. Our time in Cape Town was magical. The day spent wine tasting in the Constantia region with Katie, the “Wine Fairy,” was both educational and delightful. Her enthusiasm and depth of knowledge about South African wines added such richness to our experience — we left as newfound wine enthusiasts! The scenic drive to the Cape of Good Hope was equally memorable. Michael, our guide, impressed us with his passion, humor, and deep knowledge of the region’s history, wildlife, and landscapes. Every stop offered another breathtaking view and another reason to fall in love with the Cape Peninsula. Our journey concluded with a stay at the spectacular Savanna Lodge in Sabi Sands, where we were fortunate enough to witness the Big Five up close. The lodge staff made us feel like family — every meal, every game drive, every quiet moment around the fire was unforgettable. It was the perfect ending to an extraordinary trip. In short: What a feeling, what a journey, what an adventure! Rhino Africa delivered a seamless, deeply meaningful travel experience that our family will treasure forever. Thank you, Samantha and the entire Rhino Africa team, for helping us live our dream and for your commitment to Africa’s people, wildlife, and wilderness. Ubuntu – We are because of you.

In 2011, we did a Safari at Londolozi in South Africa. We enjoyed it so much, we decided to build on that experience to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. When we contacted Londolozi about doing that, they recommended Rhino Tours to coordinate our wishes. Carl Preller was our travel agent and he went above and beyond to make our 50th memorable! We stayed at 3 different camps and the coordination of flights to and from remote locations in Botswana and South Africa was perfect. My husband is a retired pilot and he was comfortable with the flights so that’s a great endorsement! Safety and security were A-1. I could write a short novel about our fabulous experiences! We were blown away by the accommodation and meals at all 3 camps. In the middle of nowhere, with limited construction resources, these camps were the equivalent of 5 star hotels! The staff catered to our every need to make sure we were well looked after. I would love to give 2 thumbs up for Jao and Little DumaTau in Botswana, and of course Londolozi in South Africa which has not lost a step in offering world class Safari drives. (And thank you to the animals for holding a pose for my unbelievable collection of photos!). Carl, thank you again for our amazing holiday. You worked with us to alleviate any concerns we might have had prior to our departure. To anyone thinking about a safari trip, I would highly recommend Rhino Tours to you.
