“My partner Mila and I (Asier) have just returned (end of April 2025) from a 7-day horseback trek through the Sahara Desert (south of Douz) with our daughters, aged 11 and 14. It was an unforgettable experience. We were accompanied by 8 camels carrying everything we needed—including water for our 4 horses and Abdesalem’s horse (they drink about 20 liters per day). Everything was perfectly organized. We planned the trip with Abdesalem, who always responded quickly, in excellent English, and was incredibly helpful from the very beginning. He’s kind, trustworthy, and easygoing. He guided us through stunning dune landscapes, while his team—Hakim, Wassim, and Ahmed—looked after the camels. They were all just as professional and welcoming. The food was excellent, and the evenings around the campfire, with traditional songs under the stars, were truly magical.
