I couldn’t believe how fluently he read the hieroglyphics in the temples and pyramids we visited with him. I thought it was great how we would go past active archaeological digs and he always knew someone. It meant we got to learn so much more than a typical tour could provide. But he also went above and beyond to give us real experiences of Egypt and its people. Sharing typical Egyptian foods like koshari, Turkish coffees, and roasted sweet potatoes with us. And arranging for us to have lunch on a real Egyptian farm. He really made our experience beyond special and I will always be grateful for this experience.
