“We just spent 10 wonderful days with Shipungo Safari & Tours, camping across Botswana. We traveled to Chobe, Savuti, Kwhai & Moremi and we saw more than I could've ever dreamed. The sheer amount of animals we saw was unbelievable. Our guide Kem made sure we saw every single animal available in the region, he even tracked down cheetahs and wild dogs for us, which are rarer and more difficult to spot! You could tell he is passionate about his job and was a wealth of knowledge and experience, as well as fun to be around. After learning one of our group was particularly interested in birds, he made a point to stop and point out new species. It was amazing to see him pull the truck over, checking tracks, and within 15 minutes, locate a pride of lions under a tree. The other team members, OT and KG were warm, accommodating and friendly, a lovely group of men who made us feel at home in the bush. The campsites were always in beautiful locations, where you could fall asleep in your comfy cot while listening to the wildlife. The camp chef, Shine was a culinary wizard. How he made such delicious meals consistently on a wood fire seemed like magic and we enjoyed every single meal he put in front of us, breakfast lunch and dinner. Truly we couldn't have asked for a better experience with a better team. Would highly recommend Shipungo to any one looking for a quality experience in Botswana.”

“We did a 10 day camping safari in Chobe River, Savuti, Moremi National parks and Kwai concession. The four of us had a tremendous trip with Shipungo. The office was responsive and able to accommodate our starting point in Victoria Falls. The logistics of crossing the border were perfect. Once on safari, our guide Kem was really great at finding animals then getting us in the best position to view them, especially the cats, hyenas and wild dogs. He also has extensive knowledge of the fabulous Botswanan birds. We were thrilled by the variety and number of animals that we saw. The campsites were always neat and in beautiful places. Chef Shine made incredible meals over a wood fire. Other camp team members OT and KG were always friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed 2 boat trips (on the Chobe and Kwai rivers) organized with Shipungo's partners. This trip exceeded ALL of our expectations and it's my pleasure to highly recommend Shipungo.”
