“Advice from my heart to all fellow travelers, do NOT engage with this company! We had a terrible time with Marvel during our trip in several occasions which overall ended up ruining our trip. A few examples: On our first day, the safari operator commissioned (allegedly) by Marvel, came to us saying that they were not paid and this has happened multiple times already . To not lose three days of activities we hence had to pay for our safaris directly. We soon discovered this was not a one time mistake but a pattern : apparently this company does not pay in advance the providers and this means the activities are NOT guaranteed. They send people around with money and do not even make sure they are enough to pay the providers they commission. Another terrible example : Marvel left us at a hotel in Gweta and left to go to a town 2 hours away, with our belongings in the car. He then disappeared a full day saying his car broke down. We had to pay someone to go pick our things from him. We also lost a full day thanks to him because we had nowhere to go and he did not pick up. Overall, this guy lied to us the whole time and I really hope no one ever experiences this again. Please be careful and book with them at your own costs. There are several good operators out there in Maun who are better options please make sure you do not trust a single word these people are saying to you, for your own safety. ——— Replying quickly to the operator response : you can quickly check these are lies. Go to my profile and see the 5 star reviews and go book with those operators instead, you will find a lot in the area. These people are a fraud do not trust them .”
“Attention this is a scam ! Do not book with this company. They will ask you all the money in advance and not pay the local providers, leaving you to organize your trip by yourself and pay again on site . Be very careful. We had a very bad experience with Marvel and hope it will not happen to anyone else in the future . Do not trust this company”
