White Desert Tour

“Our six-day trek through the western Egyptian desert with Islam, Ahmed and their team was a breathtaking experience. We had never experienced anything like it. The reality exceeded our expectations. We are used to going to the mountains with a backpack, tent, sleeping bag, a few necessities and instant food to keep our load as light as possible. This time, the journey with Islam was easy and comfortable. We give 5 stars to Islam, Ahmed and the whole team for: 1. driving an off-road vehicle in the dunes and on the rocks; 2. showing the desert and its appearance. White, black, sandy and with the most unusual shapes; 3. Excellent Bedouin food and tea; 4. great accommodation in a warm tent with soft bedding under the starry sky.”

“Absolutely insane tour. 10/10 must do. Mohamed and Islam take care of everything and communication is very clear from start to finish. They also arranged a beautiful bday celebration for us in the middle of the desert, with cakes and candles and all! The vistas of the black, white and crystal desert are otherwordly. We also did sand boarding (an insane amount of stuff in one day, but it's worth it). After setting up camp, we drank and sang songs under the stars in 8°c weather, huddled around a bonfire, and they played their bahari instruments and music. We met some great friends on the tour as well! Very worth it for the price. And the food was yum (they also catered to us for vegetarian meals). And lastly, the night sky was one of the prettiest I've seen; perfect for stargazing. Overall, loved the entire tour organized by White Desert Tours!”
