“Super nice tour! We left at 5am and came back at around 6.30pm, so get ready for a long day! Our tour guide Mico picked us up at our hostel in Kigali with an impressive safari truck. Besides seeing 4 out of the big 5 (we saw buffalos, lions, rhinos and an elephant), we saw a lot of other animals and got insights into Rwandan culture and every day life from lots of stories by Mico. “This review is long overdue! I was looking through my photos and remembered I never left a review. I stayed at Yambi Guesthouse for two weeks a couple summers ago. From the moment I got there until the time I left, the staff made me feel at home. They were knowledgeable about local and further sites, flexible and helpful in booking tours, and hospitable in the way they treated myself and other guests. I stayed in one of their private rooms with en suite bathroom. The cost was great for the space and quality of the room. I spent my birthday with Yambi, taking an early morning - day long safari. When the tour guide (shout out to Mico) and I arrived back at Yambi, the staff had surprised me by getting me a birthday cake (shout out to Paul)! I will sincerely never forget my time in Rwanda because of this place. I hope to visit again one day 🧡 I hope you all are well!”
